We have a giveaway today! Full disclosure, Lara is a friend of mine on blogland who has written a
new book about a making no fray applique - you don't have to needle turn! Fusible paper can give you frayed edges but Lara's method gives a really neat finish and its washable!
Last year I did a mug rug swap with Lara and she made me this amazing mini of my two dogs Charly and Wilbur!
The detailing is amazing and the little bits of fabric she used to get Wilbur's colouring and Charly's scarf is brilliant! This lives above my sewing machine in the kitchen and I get to look at it every day!
I used Lara's method when I was making a glow in the dark mini quilt of Darth Vader for a May the 4th be with you swap on Instagram. It made the tiny cuts possible on the face and breastplate to give expression and detail to my Lego inspired mini quilt!
